The beagle California rescue will guide a breeder and supply photos of the dogs.
The majority of dogs for adoption are adults, yet puppies also occur. Only dogs that have been vet checked and are free from behavior problems are eligible for adoption. All dogs for adoption are vaccinated, de-wormed, and spayed/neutered. Adopted dogs are pet quality and cannot be used for showing or breeding. The breed is not for you if you cannot devote much time to training and exercise. Grooming is minimal with regular brushing and occasional bathing being sufficient. The breed is generally good with children, yet should not be trusted with non-canine pets.

This is a non-for-profit organization that takes care of abandoned, lost, or abused dogs and educates breeders and owners on the breed. Shelter officers will never let someone who is not trustworthy adopt a dog. All potential adopters are interviewed. Such organizations are supported by donations and small fees that are paid during the adoption process. Money is needed to cover the expensed connected with care and maintenance of the dogs. People who are attracted to the breed, may adopt a dog that happened to be lost or abused by the previous owner and is now in need of new home. All prospective adopters are inquired about your experience with the dogs and asked to fill out an adoption application.
